Journalist and creative writer

I have been chronicling the news from around the world for US and Italian media.
Besides my long-running broadcast career at RAI SpA, I have published numerous articles on different issues on dailies, magazines and online papers, I have reported on radio and TV national and international networks, correspondent for satellite TV channels and other media. I have also written a book about Children. But most of all I see myself as a maker of ideas.

Raised in Rome, Italy, where I went to school, made friends, worked and loved.

I began writing when I was 12 years old in eight grade, but I had decided I wanted to be a reporter when I was just eight years old. Actually, I opted for a second career, because when I was five I used to tell my father that I wanted to “cure people’s brains”. But not “with words” referring to a psychologist or a psychiatrist, but to a neurosurgeon instead. I told my parents “I want to open people’s skulls and fix what’s not working inside”. Then, I thought it would have been too difficult for a woman. Surgery is a sort of a lobby especially in Italy, most are men. Journalism isn’t easier. But I have always liked challenges.

I see myself as being eclectic, communicative, fun and funny, witty, ironic, with a sharp sense of humor, blunt, subversive, obstinate, aware, very precise, always on time, serious, reliable and trustworthy, cynical but good.

I have a passion for interior design and decorating, pop art and craftwork.
